I just found out that a friend of mine, a soldier, a kid, died up north yesterday. He's the smiley one on the right. Sweet guy. I used to eat Friday night Shabbat meals with him at my friend Ezras house in the old city. Before he left he said he knew he was going to die. He was 21. A blessed memory

Jeremy, I receive your Mom's newsletter...I'm told by my Jewish friends that I'm a Righteous Gentile... I want you to know that you are in my prayers for you and your friends safety along with the many in this conflict...I'm so sorry about the life of your friend being sacrificed in this time... what you are doing is both brave and making a difference for each person you touch with your loving care as a tangible touch of God... I wish for peace, and a place where children can sleep without fear... Take good care... and thanks for helping those of us who are so far away receive an understanding and a sense of the reality that exists... Stay Safe...all of us who are Moms support your Mom in the understanding of watching our grown children brave the world! Warmly, Maralene, Chippewa Falls, WI
Thank you so much for your blessings. They mean the world to me and honestly give me strength when I'm feeling tired.
